Are there any Apple pencil products that function for the iPad mini 4? The only products I can find are hard-tipped pens similar to a ball point pen which don't feel comfortable for the drawing purposes I'd like to use the device for.

iPad mini4 is not compatible with Apple Pencil - as it lacks the required screen hardware that is needed to interact with an Apple Pencil.

The 2 Apple pencils that Apple released do not full compatibility with the iPad mini 4. You'll have to go find 3rd party sources.
