Macbook air 2020 battery

I have realized it's not just the camera that is faulty but the battery and heating up of the machine are major concerns. My battery drains by 10% after just using it for 20 minutes, it is unbelievable! It heats up while using and even while charging. Is it just me or others are facing this too? Attaching 2 images for reference- have highighted the time and battery level.

Battery drain is a function of what you're doing with your Mac. If you're doing something somewhat processor-intensive (like a Zoom meeting or streaming YouTube content, for example), the run time will be much shorter. For example, on my work-provided 2017 15" MacBook Pro starting with a fully charged battery, I get ~8 hours doing emails/powerpoint editing, but only ~3 hours on Zoom meetings.
