Im trying to add a signature option in preview. I needed to customize the toolbar to add the toolbox icon, but there is no toolbox icon option on the customize page.

If you're running Catalina try the Tools ➙ Annotate ➙ Signature menu option:
Create your signature in Preview by first activating markup, and then click the signature tool on the markup toolbar. If you do not have a signature, click Create Signature. Then, once you have a signature located in this signature tool menu, you click in the PDF form field where you want your signature, and then click the markup toolbar signature tool and click on your signature. It will be deposited in your PDF.
What OS are you on & what OS was YouTube using?
I'm on 10.13.6 &no such option.
Im not sure, What I'm looking to do is to be able to sign a PDF with a stored signature on preview. according to a video I watched, you need to have the TOOlBOX icon on the tool bar. If it is not shown you need, customize the toolbar and choose the toolbox icon to add it to toolbar. Except the Toolbox icon isn't available under the customize option.....
You mean right clicking on the Toolbar doest offer Customize as an option???

Yes it does, but when I get into the customized icon options, Toolbox isn't available.
