when trying to test from my macbookpro I'm getting (is not registered with iMessage.) I have changed my appleID recently. HOW do I get my iphone 7 and mac both synced for text messages like it was before. I've already tried to turn off the "forward" to Mac on my phone and turned back on... that did not re-set it unfortunately.

I have a new XR iphone and can easily send texts with pics to my daughter and sister who also have iPhones, but not to my son and other friends. This is ridiculously frustrating. I've toggled ON & OFF like I've read or heard others tell me to no avail.
Thank you Eric - Could not text from messages in MacBook - it was the new iOS and not having selected text messages forwarding for my iPhone. Cheers, Simon
