Battery Issue on New MacBook Pro 16 inch

hey everyone! I recently bought 2019 16inch MacBook Pro 5 days ago. its my first time using a Mac laptop and I'm really impressed ofc by the performance and everything. but I have one doubt about the battery life of this machine. so far I ve had 8 cycles and to me the laptop is giving me 2-3 hours max non stop usage battery life, is it normal? and should I worry about using my MacBook with power plugged in all the time cus idk it makes me paranoid as to decreasing the battery life of the MacBook. any help would be appreciated. thank you :)

Use it on AC as much as possible, that will not hurt your battery (in fact, it will extend your battery lifespan by reducing the number of cycles that accumulate). The battery run time will depend on what you're doing. For example, on my work-provided 2017 15" MBP, I can run for ~8 hours of Outlook/PowerPoint, but only ~3 hours of Zoom video meetings.
