Can your phone be used in another country if your payingfor it monthly?
If I buy a phone using a plan can I send it to another country so my friend can use it?

If you purchase a phone with a monthly payment plan which is usually for 2 years, you cannot get it unlocked for use on another network during that time. So, you would end up either getting an international plan from the carrier so that you would not have to pay roaming charges. Also, there would not be any warranty coverage in the other country. Just some thoughts about this.
