The Apple TV app only runs on Apple TV 3rd generations or late. Please Identify your Apple TV model, if it is earlier than an Apple TV 3 no there is no way. Those devices are about 10 years old now, you have gotten your monies worth and deserve to get a new Apple TV.

For sure I have gotten my monies worth out of the original one. LOL! At almost 90 years old I am just curious about all my options. 🤓. I am a died in the wool Apple junkie. Just bought a new Apple iPad and have a 27” iMac that is fairly new If Apple made it I probably have bought at least one of them. Thanks for your input👍👍
