I was just given a computer from someone. I tried to delete their account and leave only mine, but it would not let me, yet the other can delete my account. We are both admin. Can anyone help?

Did you log out of the other account, or just switch to the new one?
Is FileVault enabled and the other admin account is the only one that can decrypt it? (not sure if this is actually a problem or not).
