I plug in the superdrive and neither my MacBook Pro nor my iMac recognize it. no icon shows up for it. it used to work with my MacBook Pro. help please?
There is a disk in the drive. When you plug the drive into the machine you hear the drive start to work but it never shows up in finder or on the desktop. I can't eject the disk that is in the drive.
No icon will show until you load a disk.
Try ejecting the disk by restarting your Mac while holding the mouse button down until hopefully it ejects.
I have the same problem but when I load a disk (movie DVD), it acts like it's trying to load but then just spits it out...
