Can’t update my macOS

My current OS version is 10.12.6, and would like to update to the latest OS version.

This iMac is 21.5 inch, late 2015.

when I click on software update, it shows no update available and one incompatible update, which is Logic Pro x.

Any advise on it?

I have a 2012 iMac using Mac OS high Sierra 10.13.6. How long until I am unable to update it? I have a 27 inches 2012 iMac using Mac OS high Sierra 10.13.6. I am a producer and I am required to use Logic Pro. Recently someone has told me that the 2012 iMac have like a year after that no more updates which means they will not be running as they were before. My questions are: How long until 2012 version iMac can not receive updates? If I no longer receive update and lets say I want to get the latest version of Logic Pro can I install it? or the latest versions are only compatible with latest operating systems. Thanks

Once you upgrade, you can update Logic Pro X
