AirPods connection!

Is it possible to have one pair of AirPods connected to my laptop, and another to my iPad or phone, and have them both be connected at the same time? Whats the best way to switch AirPods from being connected to different devices, and not having to re-pair them every-time? Basically what I want is to have one pair connected to my iPhone and iPad, and another pair connected to my MacBook pro. I do not want them conflict, and want them to just stay paired. How do I do this? Thanks!

It should never be necessary to un-pair them. Just select the sound output you want. If it's in use by something else the newly selected device will take over.

On the Mac choose the speaker icon. On iOS use Control Center. Most apps also offer a sound output icon in the app.
