Safari Captcha

Hi,

I'm experiencing a recurring issue with Safari and asking me to complete a Captcha form every time I try to access a website or enter a Google search via the URL.

I have read various posts and have already cleared 'History and Website Data' in settings. I've also turned the phone off and on again.

What I have noticed is that the IP address time zone used is an hour behind my local time (GMT). So it looks like there's an issue with the IP address being used to run the searches.

Any idea how to resolve this?

Thanks

It's all websites, but Google seems to be the most common site that it occurs with. Not sure how I could ask Google to answer this.

There's something strange going on with the time zone that shows in my error message, as it's always one hour behind.

It's all websites, …

That's a new one on me. I've never heard of such a thing. Something quite goofy is going on then.

Try resetting Safari. The fastest way to do that is to shut the browser down. Open your user account (Command+Shift+U). If you don't see the Library folder, press Command+J and check the box to show it. You'll only need to do this once. Close the options panel.

Open the Library folder of your user account. Move the folder Safari to the desktop. Launch Safari. It should appear as if you've never used it before. Try going to a few sites to see if the issue with captchas is gone.
