How to move notes out of On my iPhone and into different account?

I'm trying to save my notes on different devices by moving them into my yahoo account, but it doesn't let me move any pre-existing notes into it. Any help?

Copy them from the old account. Paste them into the new account.

What is actually in the note? Anything more than “test note”? If so, there is some incompatibility in format between your host’s note method and the Notes app. If not, copy “test note” and paste it.
