I purchase 50 g of additional iCloud storage for my IPad why will it not show in my storage. It said I have 15.3g out of 16g

iCloud storage is not independent storage. iCloud serves as a synchronization source to sync data (photos, videos, notes, contacts, calendars, messages, etc) across your devices. So no, you cannot transfer material from your iPhone and delete it from your device to free up device storage. Material you delete on your device that is sync’d to iCloud will also be deleted in iCloud.

One cannot purchase iCloud storage to augment their device's storage as the latter cannot be increased.

The same happened to me. I purchased extra space in my iCloud, and My iPad is absolutely not recognizing it. I know I can’t store anymore space on my iPad than it is set up to hold, and that is WHY I bought some iCloud space, but why can’t I transfer (empty) my iPad photos to my iCloud, which would then free up my iPad storage, and then, if I need a photo, why can’t I just access and retrieve it from my iCloud? Isn’t that the purpose of having iCloud? I am feeling very ripped off, and getting VERY frustrated with having to jump through hoops, etc., over and over again to get a simple answer!

I purchase space for my iPad over a month now and I still don’t receive it as yet its 50g
