Anyone know how to open the doc in Pages? They always show gloomy and I can not open them. Thank you for helping

You are trying to open the Pages files in the On my iPad section of the Files app. Have you tried tapping on iCloud Drive and then open Pages in iCloud Drive and open the files in there?

This will be true if they’re not able to be opened in Pages. Very likely, the “gloomy” documents are not in Pages format.
Documents can be opened from the application they’re associated with.

Yes, that makes perfect sense. Other apps do not understand Pages’ internal formats.
Pay close attention to how these files are created, as that is key to how they may be opened.

I don’t fully understand your post. I’m guessing you’re referring to the Canvas app having made a file. And somehow you’ve created a file named “Blank” located outside the normal Pages file area.
Anyway, here’s more detail about opening files in Pages.
Well, that has never happened to me, after many years of using Pages.
We need more details about what you’re doing to cause this. You’re either exporting to a different format from Pages, or saving to a place you cannot access, or having a storage issue ...
My bad, I mean it won’t turn gloomy right away after I save it but a few days later (idk but it will, like my first post)
And I just create a doc, and when I trying to open it through other APP ( turn it in on Canvas as HW), it become gloomy

But sometimes after I create something through Pages, from its own doc format. It will turn into gloomy immediately after I save it and I cannot to open it....😂

The documents can be opened through Files, but not Pages. I just figured out that
Go to Files> Open Documents > Pages, then it works.
Idk how to explain it, really wired
