AirPod Pros not working with my Dell Windows 10 computer

I recently bought a new set of AirPod Pros specifically to use on my work laptop while working from home. Imagine my surprise when they don't seem to work AT ALL with my computer. I've been on the phone with my company's IT provider for 2 days, updating my laptop and nothing. The computer doesn't pick up the AirPods as an audio device. It says paired or connected but nothing. Is there going to be a fix to this any time soon?? Not every company uses Apple laptops.
