I can’t update my Apple Watch it says update your phone to the latest version but it is already updated I tried everything it doesn’t work

my phone is on iOS 13.7 and I haven’t used my Apple Watch for years now it is an old model and I don’t know which version it is on it tells me to update my phone in order to update my Apple Watch but my phone is already updated

help!!!
