The amount of space the app takes up is negligible.
Delete any data in the Health app. Go to Settings>Health>Data Access and Devices, tap on the app name>Data>Delete All Data from "App".
Go to Privacy>Motion & Fitness>Fitness Tracking and turn it off.
Same here! This health App has a great deal of information with in it and was tracking things I wasn’t even aware of. We as paying customers should have the right to say whether or not we even want the App on our phones. If we don’t , we should be able to remove it just like all other apps. I’ve removing almost everything from my phone and I still don’t have space to properly use my phone; I don’t use this app and I’ll never use it. I want it off my phone. Plus I never agreed to have it added.
You can't delete it. However, you can move it to the last page or put it in a folder so you don't see it. The amount of space it takes up is negligible.
its not negligible, it has most data of all apps on my cell and I’m low on memory. how to reduce 600Mb?
Based on what I've seen on the forums, there may be a bug with iOS 14 and health data. It doesn't seem to be on the list of things that were fixed in today's update but, I'd do the update anyway.
This same thing is happening to me and now I can hardly use my phone. Did you ever find a solution?
Theoretically, the space Health App data uses is minimal, but my new iPhone 11 running ios14 says that my health data is 128.96 GB (yes, gigabytes) on my 128 GB phone. I was on the phone with Apple Support for over an hour and all their guidance failed to resolve the issue, including deleting the "data" and restarting the phone. I think this is something that needs to be resolved by the developers of ios14 or the Health App. This started when I "upgraded" to ios14.
