In what circumstances are you losing the connection? Does loss of WiFi connection occur whilst you are actively using the iPad - or when “waking” the iPad after it has automatically timed-out and is “sleeping” after a period of inactivity?

With more information, we may be able to offer explicit guidance.

Mine is doing the same thing, it’s a 10.5 inch iPad Pro that’s a couple years old and it happens while I am actively using it. I can be in the middle of checking my email and click a link in an email and it won’t be able to connect because the Wi-Fi has dropped. It typically reconnects within five or 10 seconds. But it’s dropping multiple times a day.

i’m often using my laptop at the same time and it doesn’t lose connection when that happens. I also haven’t noticed it on my iPhone.

And my iPad keeps dropping the connection, much worse than the last two updates, this is frustrating, especially since I am playing chess and my opponents get the message that I have left the game and subsequently ‘take the win’.

Of course, you cannot give me back the games, but please do something about this,

signed,

“angry and upset”

and to that guy above that says, and I paraphrase “what are you doing when this happens”....

understand, this is not my issue, this is an issue with os update.

  1. I have done all, multiple times, these inane tips, geared for me to feel I have some sort of control over this. Responses such as these are not helping.
  2. i am upset, and there is no one to yell at.
  3. i realize that if there were someone to yell at, that I would be ‘acting out’, I have AspBergers, “you have no idea what the levels of ‘acting out’ get too, and you want to be the hero and ask questions like you know what’s going on.
  4. to others, of whom will read this, I get it, customer support, no matter from whence they come, first tries to show that the problem is the customer’s. Even though, nine times out of ten, the problems lie with the customer, I would appreciate a little compassion and behave as if this moment is the most impossible moment the customer supported ever came across, and let me feel chagrined after resolution, And not before, please.
  5. thank you
  6. (my connection dropped while trying to submit this)😩
