Why is it necessary to wait 30 days to reset an Apple ID password?
To clarify, my grandson broke his phone and forgot his unlock code and Apple ID password while it was down. After the phone was repaired, the ID got disabled from to many attempts. He has no other devices so he cant get a code anywhere. I requested the recovery and was notified it would take 4 days for an update then the update was that it wasn’t available to recover until Oct 3rd. Seems a little ridiculous since the account has been inactive for over 2 months.
