remove line numbers in pages
I've copy pasted into a new Pages file text that has each sentence numbered (and starting on a new line). I wish to remove these numbers. How to do it?

The hard way, back space the numbers to delete them. The Find/Replace tool in Pages is too weak to understand how to remove numbers from the beginning of each sentence.
If it were my document, and if it were just text, I would have massaged the numbers from the beginning of the sentences using UNIX tools, so that a clean text file was imported into Pages. I have also recommended to others in this boat to just export the document to Word, open it in LibreOffice Writer, and use its Find/Replace tool to remove the numbers from the sentences, save, and reopen the cleaned Word document in Pages. This may be the sane thing to do if you have many of these numeric prefixed sentences.
