The mail app on my iPad was accidentally deleted. I was able to re download it, however now when I open it, it takes me to the mail set up screen where you choose the kind of account you have. I entered that, but it says the account already exists.
All my passwords are still saved in the password settings, so now I’m not sure what to do, other than maybe delete from the passwords?

We're glad you were able to reinstall Mail after accidentally deleting the application. We know how important it is to successfully sign in to your email accounts. If you go in to Settings > Passwords & Accounts, do you see your email accounts listed there? If so, are you prompted to re-enter your account password? If you're not prompted to enter the account password do you see the option to sign out? If you do, please sign out and try signing back in to your email. This should resolve the issue.
