iPad storage reading?

Hello,

I have a late 2019 iPad 32GB.

Storage was at about 28.4 GB, so I deleted about 200 or more photos. Then emptied the deleted photos folder

After I did this delete, the storage then read 30.4 gb. I had to have deleted GB's of photos.

Why would it do this and how do I get an accurate reading of my storage?

storage My ipad told me i ran out of storage so i decided to like delete some apps and some other stuff right. It was telling me i had like 47 GB of photos and i know i have a lot of photos so i know that i have all the photos on my phone so i just deleted all the photos on my ipad. 6 GB of Storage Used for 13 Photos on iPad I have a 4th Gen iPad Air, and suddenly it is showing nearly 6 GB of space taken up by the Photos app, when I only have 13 photos on the device. What is the iPad seeing that could possibly account for this? There is nothing in the recently deleted folder, and I don't use iCloud or Shared Photos or Photo Stream or anything like that. Thanks.
