iPhone got hacked

I have been getting email that my iPhone 6S have been hacked remotely and they had access to my camera and they have recorded me. Now they are demanding for money in form of bitcoin. My phone is not jail break. I don’t know what to do!

Ignore the email, and do not respond in any way. Read Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support for verification/reporting tips.

I get that scam email, too. It’s hilarious.

No. They haven’t remote accessed your camera, or the rest. That didn’t happen.

They’ll sometimes even send along an old password from some breach of some web service.

(Why password re-use is a Bad Idea, too.)
