Can a family member purchase things on their own account and not bill the family head?

is it possible for my adult family members make purchases and use their own storage on their account and still share?

You are welcome. Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.


If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.

Thanks for your reply but with all the new services now available, I think Apple should rethink the way family sharing works. It’s time Apple thinks Different again. There isn’t any reason each member shouldn’t be able to share their account! It’s just a matter of programming and I thought that was what they do... l found this article from Macworld that confirms my suspicion and you answer.
