So you’ll presumably want to get rid of the device with the camera, the microphone, the many apps that track locations, and the cellular communications network that inherently allows tracking. Pretty much every phone now include GPS tracking as part of 911 services, too. Ridding yourself of that tracking—the whole device—makes removing the cryptographically-anonymized and user-controlled and opt-in—a feature which is opt-in, and not opt-out—COVID-19 proximity tracking moot, of course.
You have to opt in to them. you dont have to opt out, its disabled by default.
Of course, none of those apps are being offered freely for the state governments to access.
