Can you STRETCH a 4:3 video into 16:9?
Is there a way to change the aspect ratio of a video (in my case 4:3 into 16:9) in iMovie without actually zooming into the clip. If not, how can I do it on a Mac (for free)?

Hi, themilkshake,
Stretching a 4:3 video into 16:9 will result in distortion. In any case, iMovie has no feature to stretch it.
You will either need to zoom it with the Crop to Fill option, so that it fills the 16:9 screen, or choose the crop to Fit option that will give you black bars on each side to make the 4:3 video fit iMovie's 16:9 screen that cannot be changed.
