Clearing Recents of Files App in iOS/iPadOS

After numerous updates to iOS/iPadOS, can there be an addition to have a clear button for the Recents view in Files app? Or perhaps an option in Settings to disable the Recents. Personal documents are the first items to show whenever i want to save something to the Files app.....

Clearing the “Recent” folder in the “Files” application on iPad How can I clear the contents of the “Recent” folder in the “Files” app on an iPad without deleting the file from the location where the file is actually located? I tried selecting “delete” but this not only removes the file from the “recent” folder but also deletes it from the location its stored in. Or is there a way to disable the “Recent” folder feature?

Clearing the Recents list in Finder Is there any way to clear the Recents list in Finder? It goes all the way back to when I purchased my first Apple device! Go > Recent Folders > Clear Menu only clears the Recents lists in Go > Recents Folders and Apple Menu > Recent Items.
