Sometimes my MacBook won't wake up and I have to restart it. Sometimes it wakes up but has a flashing file folder on the screen. How can I fix this??

See If your Mac doesn't sleep or wake when expected helps. For the other issue, If your Mac starts up to a question mark.

I think when your Mac is heating up it disconnects your Drive. You need to backup your drive first.
Then Reinstall your macOS & see if that helps. If that does't help then you probably you have a Hardware problem which is needed to be checked by Apple OR by Apple's Authorised Service provider.
What do you mean by "heating up"?? Did you mean "starting up"?
There is no evidence that heating up causes the drive to disconnect.
I suspect your hard drive is defective. Consider scheduling an appointment with a Genius at your Apple Store.
