Cannot share icloud folder

What macOS are you running? Share iCloud on macOS is very recent.

Same here, when trying to share the folder (to which I also transferred all my Dropbox files) I get the message "cannot connect to icloud" and nothing is shared.. from my mac (10.15.7) same problem, even sharing from icloud.com tells me there's a problem with the server.. nothing is being shared.. icloud folder sharing simply does not work..

Strangely, an empty folder can be shared.. so probably first share the folder and then populate it?

Dear Apple,

Pleas implement in icloud drive the following:

• sync log so we know what happened to a file when it's missing, misplaced, not synced for whatever reason like duplicate and please tell us why
• Tell us why we cannot share a file / folder, we know it can't be done if it isn't done...
• Tell us when syncing is working, better when it is not
