Not as long as it is working. but it might be wise to have a spare on hand if you want to continue to use the Express for AirPlay.

Check out eBay for refurbished and used AirPort Express devices.

Apple stopped production of all routers including Express in 2018.

So no new ones.. except a few way overpriced on eBay.

It could be worth buying a second hand Gen2 Express since your current one is a Gen1
