Factory Reset Showing Two Internal Drives

I'm trying to put my iMac back to Factory Settings for resale but in Disk Utility I'm showing two Internal Drives:

Macintosh HD. 11.33 GB Used

Macintosh HD - Data. 1.23 TB Used

All the videos I watched show just one internal so do I erase both or am I missing something?

OS Catalina 10.15.6

2015 27" 2TB Fusion Drive

Backup Completed

iMac 27″, 10.15

You need to erase the disk, not just the volumes on the disk.

Select Show All Devices from the View button in the toolbar.

Select the device at the top that holds the Container which holds those two Volumes.

Hey there!

Did you select the main disk above “Container Disk)? Then erased? (Select APFS format if Catalina, and always GUID Partition Map).

If you select View > Show All Devices, in Disk Utility, (As Barney-15E said), you should see the top level disk, and if erased correctly should work, (Unless it gives an error while

erasing). When you do this, the disk name defaults to “Untitled” if you didn’t change this, then that’s what should show up as a destination disk when Reinstalling the OS.

If you erased it this way, does it show “Untitled” under the Container Disk, or something like “disk1s1”?
