since I updated my se 2020 to patch 13.7 my touch id have been failing way too often and its super frustrating. I already tried to register the same finger twice but it doesnt make any difference.
have you guys been experiencing the same thing? I’m tired of having to input my password all the time

If the previous steps didn't help, you see "Failed—unable to complete Touch ID setup", or either of the following happen when you go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact Apple Support:

Haven't yet noticed it so far. Maybe you culd try some troubleshootings steps by following this link: If Touch ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad
Restarting your phone might help. If touch id still fails, its best to contact Apple support to get some advice.
This has been happening to me aswell! Its so annoying, i just got my brand new SE 2020 last week...for the first 2/3 days the touch id worked prefectly and then i updated it to ios 13.7 and since then my touch id has been failing...tried all possible trouble shooting steps but to no avail.

You may need to restore your phone as new:
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings
If the issue persists, you can bring your phone to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service provider. You can book an appointment on getsupport.apple.com or use the Apple Support app.
