I was wondering how I stop the display from closing, after about a minute of no mouse or keyboard activity I have to sign in. I have been into energy saver and moved the slider but same same every time one minute lock out. Cheers and thanks for any help it's very much appreciated .

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?

Thank you kindly for the reply. I've checked the link you sent but nothing helpful there unfortunately. My screen still times out after 1min unfortunately, then I'm required to enter password, its quite annoying when trying to get things done.

So I created the new admin account and it works as per the slider in energy saver.
