How do I default back? I've use CONTROL + OPTION and it corrects it until I move mouse and it goes back to higher screen/display size.

You have probably enabled 'Zoom' in Accessibility, intended for people with poor vision. In Catalina it's in System Preferences Under 'Accessibility': older systems may be different within Syustem Preferences.
I actually figured it out in a setting I had under System Information > Accessibility> Then Turing Zoom off. At least for now it is lol. Thanks for reply tho
