How to restore app icon on iPhone X?

Accidentally swiped an app icon off my phone screen. The App Store will open it but will not restore the icon to my phone screen. How do I get the app visible on the screen again?

iPhone X, iOS 13

Found it! Searched for the app in Siri Search box, which showed the app location in a folder. I couldn’t see it because it was on page 2 of the folder!

More info. The app is still listed in Purchased list, and I can open it from there. But I can’t find a way to put the icon directly on my phone screen.
