Apple needs to REBRAND iCloud

I’m an Apple user since MobileMe service, and still use a @me.com address.

My main account is an @icloud.com and I’m NOT an US citizen or from any other English spoken country.

And deleted my gmail account in favor of iCloud mail.

Ok, here’s the point.

Giving my email address to anyone is a pain. There’s not a single time when I don’t have to spell it. And many times I have to recheck it.

When, sometimes, I need to use @me.com it’s easy- everyone gets its. With @gmail.com it was - boom - done. Everyone knows it.

With iCloud only my geeks friends know what it is, and the other 99% of people think it’s some kind of hacker mail domain.

When Apple started to get away from the “i” brand i was hoping that the iCloud brand would die. Even iTunes was ditched!

So, dear Apple, make us a real favor and let iCloud name go. @apple.com for everyone or @amail.com or something easy to say worldwide, in every language, and that people immediately associates to you.

You’re good with names. Just not iCloud.
