What should I do if my husband downloaded a unknown app from spam text message

my Husband received a spam text massage to 30 people asking for him to download an app, he did so. Well I’ve went on his phone, blocked the phone numbers and deleted the app and prevented what I could but should I be on the lookout for further things? If so what and where should I look?

Yes, lock out purchases and downloads here, as mentioned above.

Beyond the lock-out, it’s unclear what information the app did, or did not access.

Contacts would be an obvious choice, though there is other data.

Enable two-factor authentication.

Have a look at the phishing indo. Sending email addresses and calling telephone numbers can be forged/spoofed.

Contact the folks at Apple Support about this too, as it seems there might be something sketchy with the particular app.
