Series 1 is stuck on WatchOS 4.3.2

unable to update WatchOS beyond 4.3.2 on my series 1 (model A1554)

A1554 would be a Series 5. I believe what you have is a First Generation Watch and it cannot be updated past watchOS 4.3.2
