Unable to connect to iCloud on MacBook Pro - no error messages, just being reprompted to enter credentials
My MacBook Pro is early 2011 model running on Sierra 10.12.6. When I select iCloud under System Preferences and enter my username and password, the wheel keeps spinning until the prompt reappears asking to enter credentials again with empty username and password boxes.
iCloud used to work before and I was able to synch my docs and desktop on iCloud, now I am unable to access any of it.
To solve the problem I tried deleting the following but it didn't help:
- Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
- Contents under Library/Application Support/iCloud/Accounts
- Contents under Library/Keychains
Any help will be much appreciated.
