How important is it to have the screen saver turn on for Apple TV? Will it over work the Apple TV if I don’t use it? I read that older computers had issues with phosphor burn in from leaving a screen on for too long. Is that the case for a tv screen?
3 types of displays get burn in
1 phosphor as in the old CRT tvs
2 plasmatvs (not sure how many of those are still around)
3 oled tv's
so for most displays today both tv's and computer monitors screensavers are mostly a decoration thing, would use less power if the device went into sleep mode rather than displaying stuff of cause
