When can I get the ipad 8 if I order it now?

As to your question, if you look at Apple’s website and click on any “buy” buttons, an estimated shipping date is seen. The same can be said for the Apple Store App:

When you order it, the system will tell you what their best estimated delivery date will be. There is no default - delivery dates will be affect by demand, and delivery delays from China due to COVID. If the specific model you want is available at an Apple Store, you could select store pickup, or at least it should deliver sooner than if it has to ship from China.
