My daughter's ipad mini 2 had a software crash. I was able to reset by pressing and holding power and home button until apple logo appeared. The iTunes logo and lightning cable appeared so I connect to my pc and the iTunes app. I attempted to restore the iPad but it will not. My iTunes app is the most current one Version 12.10.8.5. What else can I do?
