Mac OS issues with NBME CAS GEMS lockdown browser

I work for a university and with Covid forcing many of us to change how things are done, we are now having students use their personal laptops to take Medical school exams using NBME CAS and GEMS lockdown browser. Specifically we seem to be having a lot of issues with the GEMS (CAS) side of things. I know students are required to turn off a lot of background applications that are running and we have been though many of those steps. The strange thing is the workstations are passing the certification but then come exam time they get the error below. Is any other Admins seeing this issue?
