Copying videos to PC windows 10

Hi guys, i have an iphone 11 pro and i can’t copy my videos to my windows 10 pc, i’m getting an error while i’m trying to do this, but when i change the settings from « automatic » to « keep originals » in the settings/photo section, then i’m able to copy my videos BUT only in h.265 codec, now my questions, is the « automatic » option not supposed to convert my h.265 video into a h.264 format? And WHY this is not working? And WHY there are any solutions from apple side? I mean i pay 100000$ for thies phone why is it not working how it should? Why apple don’t fix this issue i don’t get it. thanks

Not for videos, unfortunately, just for photos. I usually just use VLC to play them.

Regarding the bug -- weird actually, I've seen at least 2 cases where this solved the issue. There was another bug with exporting videos over 4 GB actually. If this is your case then no, no solution at all :D

It's extremely stupid but no idea why this wasn't fixed yet. Maybe will be fixed in iOS 14... Some day... Or they just force people to use iCloud.

Hi thank your for your answer but its not helpful at all, I am convinced that your didn’t even read my question, so i will repeat the question trying to be as clear as possible, i want to copy my video files to my PC (windows 10) in h.264 format (not hevc h.265 format), for this i have to choose the option « automatic » in the settings app (Settings -> Photo) but when i do so then i CAN NOT copy any file to my pc.

Now, when i choose « keep originals » in Settings -> Photos then I CAN copy my videos to my PC but only in HVEC H.265 format, but i need the H.264 Format, all iphone costumers have this probleme, so I don’t understand HOW it’s possible to missunderstand my request. If you don’t have any solution then tell me the truth but don’t spam me with links from other websites, please excuse my anger but this probleme is so fustrading that i want to burn that iphone.

Hello to the very very slow apple support, i keep trying to fix my problem myself and i have more information for you just in case you really want help me to fix this problem.

The setting is still on « automatic » in settings->photos and it’s still on HEVC H.265,

now, if the video that i’m trying to copy on my Windows 10 is smaller then 500MB then it works BUT if the video size is bigger then 500MB then i keep getting the error « A device attached to the system is not functioning. »

PLEASE APPLE FIX THIS WEIRD PROBLEM.

and sorry for my english, I speak perfectly german, french and armenian, it’s not my fault that the most rich company on the world not even have multilangual support. And why are you so slow on responsing? Are the whole apple support in vacation?

Thank you for your answer but the probleme comes for sure not from windows because i have tried it on 3 windows 10 PC’s and 1 of them was a fresh installed windows and I have tried it with an iphone 11 pro and an iphone XR and the same problem.

And which third-party converter should i use? I have tried Wondershare, Procvideo and handbrake but none of them does it with lossless qualty, does Apple propose an converter? And why the probleme is not fixed yet? Since you know about it more then a year?? This is ridiculous isn’t it? Thanks anyway
