Today a new message appeared on my phone....and it reappears every 5-10 seconds when I hit “cancel”. There is no “continue” option.
The message is: The identity of “chinode42.websitehostserver.net” cannot be verified.
Any ideas on how I can get rid of it?

Go to Settings/Accounts & Passwords, scroll down to Subscribed Calendars, and delete any calendars you don’t recognize.
In iOS 14 it is in Settings/Calendars/Accounts.

I don’t have any subscribed calendars there. I use iCal and have some subscribed calendars there (US Holidays and an airline)
What version of iOS?
Go to Settings/General and scroll to the bottom. Do you have an entry for Profiles, just below VPN? If you do tap on it and delete any rogue profiles.
