Spilled coffee in/around my new MacBook Air, what are my options?

I had a cup of iced coffee on my bed next to my MacBook, and when I got up to leave my room the coffee spilled over and got under and near the USB ports. I wiped the bottom clean as well as the droplets near my ports. I didn’t think any damage was done seeing as everything was working perfectly fine.

Then later on that evening I noticed my MacBook wasn’t charging and that’s when fear set in. I took it to an Apple technician this morning and they assured me that my computer was fine and I should just buy a new charging cable. This worked for about 30 minutes and then it stopped charging altogether.

Finally, I called Apple customer service and was told to send it in for repairs. I didn’t ask for an estimate, but how much should I expect to pay when all is said and done? What are my changes of it being a simple battery replacement and not a logic board repair?
