Updating to iOS 14 from Windows 10 PC

I use a Windows 10 (64-bit) PC.

On iTunes, I clicked Update in the Summary page of my iPhone 11 (connected via lightning cable). The process started, however, it stopped saying that iTunes needs to be updated to the latest version.

On checking for updates, iTunes reported that it was on the latest update.

What’s wrong?

iOS 15.2.1 installation I can't install iOS15.2.1 into my iPhone12 using iTunes. It comes up immediately with the message ""To update your iPhone to iOS 15.2.1, you need to install the latest version of iTunes". I have gone to Help/Check for Updates and it says I have the latest version, 12.10.11.2. I went to the app store and downloaded and installed a new version anyway, same result. Is iTunes no longer an acceptable method of updating phones?

New version of the Iphone unable to install Hi, I am new to this forum, thank you for your welcome. I have installed Itunes for Windows 64 bit Version 12.10.11.2. When I chekc for updates Itunes says that the software is up to date. He ask me if i want to install the latest version (15.6) of IOS for my Iphone. I says Yes but then a message appear saying that I have to install the latest version of Itunes. Where to find the latest version of Itunes ? Best regards. .

You need to install the iTunes update from the Apple site, not from the Microsoft site.
