Updates

Big Sur is not yet available.

Our NDA prohibits us from discussing software beta issues here or anywhere else. Do not use the Apple Support Community forums to discuss Apple's beta software nor to post bug reports.

Being still in the stage of development... Big Sur questions are to be asked in the Developer Forums.

So, go here to ask this question: developer.apple.com. You are likely to get the answer you need in there.

Big Sur has not been released yet.

It will be released this fall, according to the dedicated page on Apple's website https://www.apple.com/macos/big-sur-preview/

You can update then :-)

Or if you want to try it before it is finished and released, there is a beta program (be sure to read and understand the implications of running beta software) https://beta.apple.com/

The developer forums are for paid and registered developers and not meant for public beta participants. Public beta participants have NO forums to participate in; their only recourse is to use the feedback assistant to file a report with Apple.
