Bedtime mode Currently gone in iPadOS 14.

Ever since I was updating my iPad I checked my alarm and found out that my bedtime alarm has moved to my Alarms category. When I first saw this I was like “Wait, where is bedtime mode?” I tried looking all over for it and it disappeared. I don’t know why is it gone, I mean for the iPhones they are good but even tho I don’t own an iPhone. So what now?

I found it, eventually, go to alarms, scroll to top and you will find

sleep wake up

press on theses and follow the prompts into the health app, it has all the bedtime features there

My school-aged child doesn’t have an iPhone and won’t for a long time—because she doesn’t have use for a cellphone.

However, she _does_ have a (cell-disabled) iPad 5th Gen because she can use it for school work, but also music, etc., and she uses the Bedtime feature to wake herself up in the morning and remind her that it’s bedtime (instead of fighting with me.) Now, it’s gone

Why would you (Apple) assume that the “Bedtime” program users had phones... or wanted/needed phones? You have access to that data!

”Completely unwise”—from a disappointed customer and her frustrated mother.

Agreed! This is ridiculous. I went to find out why Siri hasn't been reminding me it was bedtime. I have a header on the alarm clock page saying I can do even more, ie separate sleep schedules for weekdays and weekends, set up a wind down menu and more. It all sounded great but when I tap "Set up sleep", nothing happens. I closed and reopened the alarm clock and the header's gone. I don't understand why they didn't just put it under the (now missing) bedtime button...

Why should I have an IPhone? You should provide more features not less, if the Heath app is not going to be on iPad provide one alternative that won’t work on iPhone.

this is not challenging the status quo. it Is going backwards.

you are losing step by step what’s is important in your products. And what we love from apple.

I loved the friendly reminder to go to bed and the uprising sound for wake up.

side note: it’s hard to get a telco support when your product doesn’t receive sms nor phone calls nor WhatsApp what’s the concept of paying more money for less features?

You're not addressing Apple. This is a user-to-user technical support forum and Apple's participation here is minimal. If you want Apple to know your thoughts, use the Feedback page:

That is between you and your carrier. If they don't offer a way to support their customers with iPads, shame on them.

Please Apple, bring back Bedtime for iPad.

I don’t want my iPhone by my bed as an alarm clock (using Bedtime in Health App) as it’s too small for me to read time etc. and I don’t my children to have to have their phones in their rooms at night either. They had off-line iPads as their alarm clocks.

Was so shocked this morning when my lovely alarm tune was replaced by a ‘radar’ sound (then was suspicious that my children were playing a prank on me!), then annoyed when I realised I couldn’t get it back, post-update 😕.

You should warn customers if functions are gong to be removed when updating.
